Industry with the worst commercials

Several surveys have indicated that the public actually trusts used car dealers more than Congress. Anyone surprised?
 
Pharmaceuticals. Bar none.

Not only are many of them in bad taste or offputting (RE: couples in bathtubs
during baseball telecasts at 2:30PM) but they actually interfere with a doctor's
prerogative to prescribe based on what is best for the patient, and not in response
to hyped-up consumer demand.
 
Supposedly, Lisa Marie Presley hated the use of her dad's song "Viva Las Vegas" being turned into "Viva Viagra" for Viagra commercials, but since Elvis never wrote any of "his own" songs, I suppose she had no say in the use of that song for that commercial. Must admit, though, that the band's rendition of that song was rather catchy! 8)
