Indy big change

OK... AM/FM or Bob and Tom having surgergy to keep from having offspring? (only kidding) ! ::) We want more, more, more!
 
unless CC is leaving 6161 Fall Creek. not many people Besides the Bob And Tom Show Crew have been there that long. None of the X103 Crew have more than even 14 years in that building. Other than Mark Patrick and Ace Cosby over On WNDE. most of the people there are Minimum Wage board ops or Interns. and Over at Q only Laura Steele, Gunner, and Jay Baker have any significant Time on the Q

Whom is the bad guy here? Is it Bob and Tom downsizing or Clear Channel. Yes he worked there but we don't know the Bob and Tom deal do we?

Those are on air types, remember a radio station is more than the on air folks. I think there are several behind the scenes people that have been there just as long or longer, 2 or 3 sales reps, a couple of accounting people and at least one of the engineers. In this business these days you sure do not see that very often even behind the scenes people are being cut, I think that says something about the operation up on Fall Creek Rd.

The trade I read indicated that Marty Bender was part of the Premiere staff and that his position was eliminated by them not the Clear Channel radio side, (I realize that CC owns Premiere) my understanding is that he has been strictly involved on the Bob and Tom show for the past few years and not doing the OM job since that segue. I will probably always be k105mark. 7 years at WQHK and 6 at WKOA will do that. I have to many usernames that are k105mark. Pain to change all of them.

I had applied prior to taking the job at 98 Gold.

Jan Jeffries emailed me back saying my "credentials didn't match" for them.

Really? 14 years in programming management? O---kay.
 
You've never worked as PD in a top 50 market, right? I'm guessing that's the creds they're looking for.
