Is WFMS still doing oldies on HD-2,,,, I really liked their broad based oldies format they were airing. Also, is 93.1-HD2 still Dance Music, or did that change after WIBC came to FM?

From out of my HD radio, WFMS HD is still airing oldies and WIBC HD is still airing
dance music. 107.9 is still running the DELTA blues and roots format.
WICR alternates between jazz and symphonic recordings. WFYI seems to be running
various programs on their HD. 97.1 was running older hillbilly music. And there are
a few other FMers running various things. My favorite still is the All Comedy Radio
Channel on WZPL HD-2. Lots of repeats, but still...who can turn off stuff that makes
you laugh?
Never did understand why a regular AM station didn't do a format like that instead of
the mudslinging from the likes of Limbaugh and Hannity. Or giving Indy yet another all-sports format....yawn! Oh, don't get me started!

I dont think they do for long periods.
I don't...but there was a time when WFAN New York with a sports format was the #1 billing station in America. And the fact that I didn't listen didn't negatively impact them a bit. 1070 will never be #1 in any demo, but Emmis has successfully made a lot of money with that format...and my less than $3 Emmis shares are begging for a boost, so I wish them the very best...even though I'll probably never listen to them again.dave388 said:do people really listen to them all sprots stations :
