Indy needs Classic Hits

Indianapolis needs a classic hits station. Classic rock is a dinosaur format. Classic hits like Steppenwolf's "Move Over", Lighthouse's "One Fine Morning", Crow's "Evil Woman", etc. Genuine top-40 hits from the '60s & '70s.

JACK.......

WKLU plays a few hits too. One Fine Morning & Evil Woman are both great songs, but neither was a big hit. Those are more the type of songs the old WKLU played.

And here I thought you were going to say, "No, it needs a dance station." You have grown, grosshopper.

Anyway, the closest we get to that kind of station is FBQ/KLU, and maybe a little in Jack. I am not sure there would be a big market for it, but I think an audience could be had. It would be a little better than a straight oldies station, and God knows what a mess that demo is to sales. But I don't see anyone switching anytime soon.

Here's a thought. Let's use the slogan "The Wrath of the Buzzard" and call it WNAP. :)<P ID="signature">______________
