Indy stations raising $$

Bob & tom have an auction coming up. Emmis & WRTV raised $200,000+ this week.
Smiley did a fund raiser on ZPL. Amos Brown did a live show from a fund raising effort on WTLC am. Any other stations doing things to help?

I noticed on Friday that WXNT has teamed up with the Salvation Army to help raise funds for the relief effort. XNT had a remote broadcast during Abdul in the Morning encouraging people to stop by and donate.

Not directly in Indy but Columbus-based stations 101.5 WKKG, Y106, Oldies 104.9 and 1010 WCSI collected more than 20 tons of bottled water & disposable diapers and raised over $8,000 to pay for gas and truck rentals!

I remember hearing that Abdul was going to be at the BP on Fall Creek and 38th by the fairgrounds last Friday to get donations, as well. I remember being mad because I could have swung by there if Friday wasn't my day off. There are many ways to give, though, so the only loss was to actually get to see Abdul.
