Infinity Jack station logos

Why do Infinity's Jack stations in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York have a different logo than the other Jacks, including Infinity's Dallas and Baltimore Jacks, which use the standard Jack with the big red letters?
______________

I'm curious about this myself. The choice of the crown in the logo in LA/Chi/NYC is interesting as well, since that makes me think of King or Queen (if you're talking playing cards) as opposed to Jack.
______________

Think of the nursury ryme. Jack was wearing a crown that broke AFTER he fell.
I'm not saying this is a symbol of the Jacks that are the MOST solid in the Infinity chain, but they do symbolize a Jack from before he went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.

Good point about the Jack & Jill reference (which is especially fitting in Los Angeles, which has the Jill FM trimulcast). Though the ending of that story is not a happy one, with Jack falling down and breaking his crown, which is some brutal foreshadowing to throw in there. But at least your explanation helps the logo make sense. Thanks.
______________

As a New Yorker, I will tell you something I don't understand about other New Yorkers. Why do they like black so much? It seems that all you ever see people wearing is black. And I hate the NY Mets for getting rid of their blue and orange and replacing it with black everything. It reminds me of the Rolling Stones songs, Paint It Black.

Maybe that is why they have that icky logo for New York's Jack.
