I found this aircheck.net site last night - it listed almost every station in the Bay area, and let me pick a date, and see every song and every spot that played. This went back for 2 years. For the last 30 days, I was able to click "play" and it would play, unscoped, the entire day's broadcast. I could fastforward or rewind.
This was very cool as I was able to hear my shift at KRTY..it updated in about 3 hours so by the time I got home and ate lunch, I could hear my aircheck from that day, without having to tape anything. Also, if anything happened on a station (i.e. max going jockless) I could hear the exact time when the switch was made....or if something controversial went on in a morning show, I could go back and listen to it, for up to 30 days.
Anyway i spent all night sunday on this site, then I went back this morning and it was no longer free. It asked for a login and password. So I'm guessing I just had a glitch in the system. I can't tell how much it costs or what's required to get a login. Anyone here subscribe to this or have any other info they can share? It was, without a doubt, the coolest thing I've found online in years...
