Informal pole: physical radio

I have radios in my house, both SD and HD, kitchen, bedroom, family room, bathroom. I also have two radios at work, one in my office and one in my lab (I'm a chemist). I also have a SD radio in my 2017 Ford. I regularly listen to WMMR on multiple radios. I'm a huge Preston & Steve fan. I wakeup with WMMR on the clock radio every morning, listen in the kitchen & bathroom getting ready for work too. I stream Boston sports station on iPhone apps as well. My wife's clock radio wakes her up to DeBella on 102.9 in the morning. We both also listen to Sirius in our cars and stream it on the app. I especially like to stream Patriots or Red Sox game on Sirius if I am not watching on TV. I often stream Red Sox games on my iPhone while cutting the grass or doing other yard work. My three children do not own or listen to terrestrial radio. The only time they hear it is if I am listening to it. They stream from music apps on their iPhones.

Just tossing this in for fun. Didja know that a Polish name ending in 'ski' is the male gender while one ending in 'ska' is female? Not sure how each is assigned since I've known people with both names and some are male and some are female (unmarried). Many more 'ski' than 'ska'.

I think the -ska ending in the US is mostly an old-school immigrant usage. Lidia Pucinska (born in Krakow in the 1890s) was the Polish Sunshine Lady of WEDC Chicago for decades; her politician son was Roman Pucinski; his politician daughter is Aurelia Pucinski. I don't know if Aurelia would be expected to use Pucinska as her surname if she moved to Poland. I do know that the Czech edition of Playboy used to run pictures of American models with the Czech female suffix "-ova" tacked onto the ends of their last names. Because, y'know, without that -ova somebody might think they were guys.

Good thing I don't take offense easily. lol But the problem is that I haven't ever seen the word written in braille and if I ask the a Lady how to spell it she'll give me one. Actually I coulda probably put enough context in Google to look it up and find it out, but I didn't know there were multiple spelings, so didn't think to do that.
As for radios , SCA is a radio thing... I forget what. and hearing SCA that is the first thing that went thru my brain on a radio forum. Something about the carrier?
I'm on a radio geeks forum, it would stand to reason that at least some of them use actual physical radios that can receive broadcasts over the air. Yeah, sooooo many translators.
