Ingraham to KTRB?

Now that she's out (presumably) from KNEW, does this mean she'll be moving to KTRB. At least they're trying over there, but if she did wind up there, what a fall from grace in SF. KSFO -> KNEW -> KTRB :eek: :eek:

Or, if nothing else, perhaps she'll replace the static known as Rusty Humphries late at night.

Good point... even radio people forget about KNTS! But that's likely where she'll end up, live.

I'm a believer in talk radio, especially in SF, but yikes! KGO, 4 conservative talkers, 1 liberal talker, 1 hot talker, 1 podcast talker, 1 metaphysical talker, 1 (if you combine the whole Bay Area, 2) news station(s), 2 sports talkers, 4 or 5 religious talkers, and 2 talkers that can be heard from another market (KFBK, KSTE).
 
so let me get this straight. Laura is gone from KNEW. Dennis Miller gets added and O'Reilly and Laura get the boot..Rusty follows Savage and Lars Larsen follows Rusty?

I would not be suprised. She could be live 6-9AM, like she now is on fellow Salem stations KTKZ in SAC and KRLA in LA

So she DOES wind up on KNTS, just as we had speculated, 7-10pm. Seems having her or Beck live would save a lot of time and money before Mancow fails and is dropped.

So Ms. Pelosi should do...what, exactly?

Try to restrict the views expressed on the San Francisco airwaves to talk hosts who espouse views similar to hers? Even if she wanted to do that, there's this thing called the First Amendment.

Ask the mostly Bush appointed FCC Commisioners take action? Fat chance - they're too busy trying to stop the scourge of dirty words and bare breasts.

Or maybe Pelosi should spend time talking publicly about how unfair it is that talk radio has mostly conservative hosts. Liberal politicians have done that before, and they just come off like they're whining. In my opinion (and I am a liberal on most issues), that kind of complaining just plays into the hands of the right-wing hosts, who then get a lot of free publicity, and get to come off as courageous souls fighting the big evil Liberal Power Structure. Recently, the Dems refused to attend a debate on Fox News, and it just made them look like wimps who were afraid Chris Wallace would be mean to them. I can imagine Ann Coulter saying "see - what did I tell you?"

The best thing Pelosi can do is just ignore talk radio entirely and stick to important issues.
