INquiry: Station Sold ?

OK, was "Sierra_H"/KNRJ sold to....anyone?
i "heard" it was, but went to the website,
every thing looks, feels, fine, and sounds the same.
(minus, a little trouble w/ the stream), but
besides that, the -at-sierraH.com email's are
still in tact, (etc,etc), so was it sold, and if so...

to who/how much(may i be permitted to be allowed to
know the asking price?) if not, apologies in advance.
 
Whatever you do, don't mention the price to the owner of Movin' 97~Five! It's what the market will bear for a rimshot with puny ratings.

I figure the suits at 95.1 are also in a state of panic right now too.

The sale price and info was already posted. The reason there have been no changes is that the sale has not been approved by the FCC yet. This can take several months, followed by a period in which the closing is set, often a month or more. At that point, the new owners take over and can do any changes they might want to implement.

That might buy you a spot on their most-listened-to daypart!

The rent they have at the (former) Scottsdale Galleria must also be killing them!

I was talking about 95.1, who has their studios at the Galleria, not 101.1.

As for Sierra H., they still keep an office in Payson for engineering and legal reasons. The Carefree address was that of 101.1's previous licensee, Redwood Broadcasting.

Station Sold ?//SIDEBAR:

there is a station, in PHX, that has the studios, in a MALL?!
I'm from niagara falls, and visited phx, at the start of this (long) decade...lol,
so, this may be *sigh* old news, and u say well where have i been?
i just told u, niagara falls!
 
KVIB 95~One is located in The Galleria, a defunct Scottsdale mall which was converted to an office complex a number of years ago. Nurse Jeff and I recall the pain-in-the ass re-routing of Scottsdale Rd to accomodate parking for The Galleria. Fortunately City Hall realigned Scottsdale Rd and you can make it from Indian School Rd to Camelback now with only 16 stop lights slowing you down!
 
I really hope they keep the format. The only thing I wish they would add is a morining drive mix like when Dj Shy was doing the morning show or Lysa D used to do the Energizer mix with Dj Dre...
