Insensitive remarks on the set of "Big Brother"

Well the show is one those scripted "Reality" shows. Because of this, it's doubtful anything will come of it..... ::)

Now if stars from one of TruTV's Actuality shows (Which, contrary to popular belief, aren't scripted) start making hay of it, that could bring about an eyebrow raising & interesting ballgame because it would give the network what it would LOVE to have - FREE POSITIVE PUBLICITY in the press & media

Unfortunately though, the people who would make the most hay of it & do it faster than anyone would likely be people like Rev. Al Sharpton. Don't get me wrong, while I may not agree 100% with what he says or believes in, I like the guy & figure he'll likely raise a big stink over it before anyone else will.....

Cheers & 73 ;D

The first season was the only good one. Real people. Not just a bunch of pretty model types. They had a fat guy called Chicken George, An oriental, A chain smoker, A one legged dude and a few other interesting people. Now THAT was what this show should be. As many different types of people as you can find. Throw them all in a house together and watch the fireworks. If the show had stayed that way it would have been great. But now everyone looks like they are from central casting and it's a borefest. Bring back Big Brother with REAL PEOPLE. Then I'll watch it again.

TruTV's shows are just as scripted as all the other reality shows, Pat. If they've fooled you, then they may be very well scripted. But scripted just the same.

Flipped across about a month ago when BB started their new season. Still broadcast in glorious 4x3 aspect ratio SDTV--a relic from the late 90's.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's now the last major primetime show in SD. Probably a big expense to upgrade all the cameras that are used in the BB house.

Disgusting that Big Brother is in SD. It's NOT 2003 anymore! But, remember that IIRC, Let's Make a Deal (Wayne Brady) on CBS is also SD 4x3, as well as many first-run syndicated shows (mainly Byron Allen crap).

Also, this is the 2nd time that racial slurs have been heard on BB15. But I rarely watch the show anymore (maybe an HOH challenge here and there)
