The former CEO of Jacor and Clear Channel and former ABC & Premiere VP have bought the show from Democracy Radio. Jones retains the ad sales deal.

RBR 6/10/05: Michaels tells RBR: "I read the release. Those DR [Democracy Radio] people are something. Anything to put their spin on the story. I hope to get a deal done, but don't have one..."

I suspect Michaels is just messing with Democracy Radio, or with RBR for that matter. Full text here Second story.

Good choices...What about their current contract arrangements with their respective employers? I recall that Ray said on the air several months ago that he was pleased to have just signed another 5 or 7 year contract.

I haven't heard Arnie Arneson yet. There are problems with the stations' audio stream as reported earlier. I tried w/o success. Are you able to hear her on-line?

How about Dave Ross as the next Ed Schultz? He is close to the center like Ed Schultz, and liberals do indeed listen to him. And he already has name recognition with his CBS commentaries.... http://daveross.com, isn't it???
