What a joke of a brokered show. The hosts follow the same model that Tampa's J.P. Peterson does: local TV sports anchor(s) can't get work, so they host their own brokered show and hustle local retailers for ad money in a desperate effort to meet their mortgage payments.
A quick call to some old colleagues in Maitland reveals that the same sales people that were behind "The Blitz" brokered show on 1080 back in 2003 are working on this, which is made obvious by the presence of former Buffalo Bills player Darryl Talley, another "Blitz" alumni. The whole thing is apparently the brain child of the guys who were behind the "Rock Solid Financial Sports Report with Big O" from 2002. That show barely lasted three months before Rock Solid pulled funding, so who knows how long this one will last.
