How do we find out if this new $150 HD tuner has a "Broadcaster" mode (split analogue / HD)?

Here's a link to the manual.ii did not see a broadcaster mode.you might want to call insignia.

Like oldiesstation said - it doesn't look like this has broadcaster mode. It's a basic HD radio tuner that's overpriced by about $100.

I wouldn't have expected to find it in a consumer users manual; had already looked there.

There are mods online that tell you how to lock it into analog. Google is your friend here.

It is BY FAR the best tuner ever made!

Unfortunately, that rebate expired on September 29.

Is this BestBuy tuner a clone of the Sangean original HDT-1 radio model or the updated "X" model; or is it a totally different model? (bastardized downgraded version perhaps?)
They didn't have any out of the box that I could play with to listen to and see, but the case sure looks Sangean.
