Interactive Kids TV

Back in the late 80's there was a show called Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future and it was interactive with a toy by light pulses from the show. I also remember a show that was also interactive like Captain Power but had a western theme.

Does anyone remember that show and was it also syndicated?

Thanks.

Power On!!

CPSF was a live-action show put out by Mattel (I think) for a really short while in the late 1980s. I didn't have the toys as a child (I was only 3 when the programme first aired in '87!) but I have picked up a couple of the videos of it over the years.

I have no idea if it was syndicated or not.......KPTV carried it for a while here--right before Thundercats on Saturday morning--and at that time, KPTV was still an independent, unaffiliated TV station. (Didn't become an affiliate of anything until UPN snatched it in the 90s.) This probably indicates that it was syndicated but I really couldn't tell you specifically.

Look around on E-Bay or a local used record/tape/video store.........I know for a fact there is still quite a bit of CP stuff kicking around nowdays. I know about the other western show that you mentioned but as is typical, I can't recall its title for the life of me.............
