This is for the resident collectors...

Just got a call from a friend who ended up with a bunch of old 33s from when KSUD shut down. He hasn't really looked at them, but thought there might be a collector who'd be interested. I figured that I'd check here.

I'm sure it's mostly gospel, but he said it runs the gamut of music. Interested?

I've got dozens of BOXES of vinyl that I'd like to sell.
Rock, Country, even comedy. Very popular artists/albums from the 60's thru late 80's.
ALL IN GOOD CONDITION - SOME NEVER OPENED.

Probably about the same dates.
I'd certainly be willing to part with them.
Some were payment for a gas trade out that didn't happen years ago.
There's probably some that are actually worth something.
I could be encouraged to part with them.
 
And if you need something to play this old vinyl on, I've got a SP-15 with an A.T. arm sitting in the closet.
Needs feet and a cartridge but I have a source for some Mason M series shock mounts.

I contacted the originator of the thread about the records and after talking to the owner discovered there really werent very many and they were basically worthless. For some reason, I decided to acquire records as a hobby about 6 years ago. What I decided i like to do is acquire huge lots...and I don't mean 50 or 60....and spend time researching them for a gem or two to add to my collection. I acquired 10,000 45's one time and that took up a lot of my time. 99% of all vinyl is not worth a penny. In fact when I go to auctions I'm the only guy who will haul them home after zero bids just to sort through them and see what i hauled home. With that being said, any of you can feel free to contact me offline and I'll be happy to discuss what you have and if I have any interest in them. thanks.
 
as the first regular 7-mid on the old KSUD when they switched over from a daytimer.... i had enough southern gospel to last me a lifetime !!!
 
I have probably between 250 and 500. Even if what I have is worthless, I won't GIVE 'em away.
Hell...they don't eat.
At some time in the future I'll have time to research and maybe locate a gem or two myself amongst them.
I've a good feeling there are a few.

If anyone has any lp's by "Spirit" or "Amboy Dukes" in good shape, I'll take them off your hands at a fair price.
