Interesting antenna in Lakewood off Alameda

I'm new here, so when I see something interesting, I'm not sure what it is. This happened today as I was driving east on Alameda and just before I got to Kipling, I noticed some antennas in a large field. They were attached to some short towers, but were unlike modern AM or FM antennae. They didn't look that old, but were composed of two short towers with the antenna strung between them, much like in the very old days of AM broadcast.

Does anyone know what these are?

Thanks...

Isn't that the Federal Center in Lakewood? FBI is housed there if I am not mistaken. If so there is probabaly a lot of communication equipment that is known and unknown.
