I noticed that Aleluya's KBRZ has made a few changes to their application for an increase in power from 5,000 watts non-directional daytime to 10,000 directional, diplexing from one of the existing towers and constructing another one at the KRTX 980 nighttime site northwest of Katy (as mentioned recently co-owned KRTX also has a CP to transfer their daytime operation there). Much of the signal would be going in somewhat of a southeast direction, due to adjacent channel issues with 1480 KLVL as well as protection for a number of co-channel stations. Certainly it's an upgrade of the signal KBRZ has now, from their tower a little west of Grand Parkway and 59, but don't expect too much.
Here's what's notable about the application: they'd still be using low power at night (112 watts, non-directional), but they're now asking for a change in location. The new site would be a little west of South Gessner and the Beltway just inside Harris County.
