Last night, I was tuning the band here in Charleston and got some stations that I didn't expect.
On 1360, WMOB from Mobile came in pretty well. I assume that they were on their 5kw day signal, not their 212w night signal. It was coming in much louder than others on the frequency.
On 1600, WFIS from Fountain Inn, SC was coming in, and I assume that they didn't switch to night power, and still were running on 1kw day power, most likely. KWKH was coming in over WBBR here, which rarely happens in our part of South Carolina.
I also heard a talk station on 1370, loud and clear. It could have been Pensacola or Toledo, OH. A bunch of stations were coming in that don't usually come in. Even WGST was coming in on 640.
