Interesting how some jocks took the day off but others didn't.

It was interesting to see how some DJ's in the mid-day slot took off but for whatever reasons others came in today for the holiday in New York City. Bob Shannon, Helen Little, and Heather Walters were all present and accounted for at their regular posts. On the other hand KTU's Diane Prior and Q104's Maria Millito both took the holiday off. By contrast in adjoining areas most of the jocks were off. In Connecticut Star 99's Samantha Stevens was off. In the Hudson Valley both Mary De Silva and Tom Furci were both off with ironically both stations having the afternoon drive jocks Dave Ashton and Andy Bale sliding into mid-day. Finally both major Long Island mid-day hosts Scott Miller and Jodi Vale took the holiday off. It was indeed very fasinating to see how it all shook out.
 
I'd be willing to bet some of the other previously mentioned jocks were voiceracked, as well.

I thought Heather's shift on Fresh was partially VT'ed, to begin with.
