Interesting news about a former Tampa CC PD...

yea, getting the band together and screwing up what used to be one of the top newspaper companies in the country. i have friends who have worked for the tribune company properties for decades and now they are climbing over each other to accept their buyouts so they can jump off this sinking ship.
 
Newspapers are dying a slow death. All over the country papers are slashing staff, cutting sections, paring down features. Michaels brought on Kapugi as VP of Content for Tribune Interactive, the internet media division. Maybe he has something up his sleeve that has to do with the "internets."

Sam and Randy are about to buy a bunch of radio stations at fire-sale prices (take that, John Hogan), and will emerge as the first media company that truly gets it: Content first, delivery method second.
 
Rick gets an A+ for paying attention. I've have been riding out this CRAPPY "gap" in radio history, waiting for people who KNOW good radio to OWN good radio :) It's good to see...gives us hope.
