Interesting read

It's interesting to note that Sandy continues to do middays her in FWB/Destin on the BA affiliate...

WSBZ 106.3 The Seabreeze - Weekly Schedule

She is the only weekday show I listen to, as the station departs from the BA programming during her shift.

It's refreshing to see someone stand up for their beliefs like this, and to have the courage to confront the BA cartel head-on, even if it may conflict with their current employment situation.

KORL FM 101.1 in Honolulu is another SJ station that departs from the BA network each day. First, Johnny Miro features the "Smooth Morning Mix" Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 AM Hawaiian Standard Time. Second, Roy Dackerman features "Roy Dackerman's All That Jazz" Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. Both Johnny Miro and Roy Dackerman play SJ tracks that are ignored by the BA network. One morning on Johnny Miro's show, I heard "Infinita" by Lawson Rollins, a tune that BA will never touch. Another morning on Johnny Miro's show, I heard "Sausalito" by George Duke, another tune ignored by BA. Obscure tunes from Roy Dackerman's show include "To You" by Earth, Wind, and Fire, "It Might Be You" by Roberta Flack, and "Waterfall" by Kim Waters. I give credit to Johnny Miro and Roy Dackerman for digging up SJ tunes that are not heard on the BA network.

Yeah but you have to admit when Jones was booming west into Destin from PCB they were a whole lot more enjoyable to listen to then the Destin station. Always found it lifeless and that is going back 5 or 6 years when they were both around.
