Interesting Sunday AM talk show on WKRZ/WKRF

While venturing down the dial I happened to catch on WKRF 107.9 airing a talk show with some guy named Shadow. He had on as a guest Harry West who seemed to have been on WARM in its glory days. Most of the conversation I heard was all about the many celebrities he met...at WEEU in Reading! Harry was invited back.

It's amazing what passes for local "public affairs programming these days.

Shadoe mixes it up. I've been a guest on his show talking about my books and what led to them. Getting mauled in a car accident. But some stuff he has on is really gritty. This past week, he had an Old Forge Boro cop that talked freely of corruption in that borough. I mean they were out on a limb.
He'll have Harry once in a while, an Attorney, a social worker too. I hear the great Mel Wynn might make an appearance soon. Public affairs? A broad spectrum. I once did a half hour show on WBAX and the agency representatives like the Red Cross, United Way, it's all rote. Good but rote. Ya gotta mix it up. Plus the show airs on all Entercom startions.

Would you rather listen to another 60-minute drawl about the dangers of smoking? The program features interesting people from the markey of which Harry West has been a key media figure since 1959. Research what you're commenting on in the future or change the dial.

Which is like saying, "He had on as a guest Jesus Christ who seemed to have been involved in the Catholic Church in its early days."
