What exactly is considered southeastern Mass? I look at it at east of RI towards the cape but what about areas south of Boston?

My my, conforming themselves to radio stereo types early. Need female for morning show, mid day "diva"( aged 24-34, they gonna fire her when she turns 34?) and afternoon drive has to be music director(so you could be a great on-air personality, but have the worst music taste ever, and still be MD I guess).

Pardon me if my skepticism is showing, but......this thing has the strong smell of HOAX about it.

Let's all think for a moment, shall we?

First of all, isn't the table of allocations for FM frequencies for this part of New England (From the RI border sweeping through the Cape, and on up to the Boston south shore) FULL......as in no more room for anything?

Secondly, wouldn't we already be aware of the coming of a new player to the market well before this? Wouldn't there already have been news and info on the technical / engineering details i.e. construction permit, transmitter siting, diplexing, etc. etc.?

Thirdly......Didn't we all here spend literally MONTHS at around this time last year......speculating on what would be happening 'soon' with an impending 'ownership / programming' change at 990?

Methinks we're getting our collective legs pulled again!

Thank you mister Holmes! Hoax, or annoying hopefuls who don't realize exactly what goes into starting a new station.

Unless 100.3 got sold again, I strongly doubt the veracity of these claims

Who was the guy about a year ago who claimed that WALE was going to be back in full force? He even described the whole talk lineup as well as describing every single move the station was supposedly making on a day to day basis. This ad sounds a lot like it could have been written by that same dope. "SALES MANAGER HIRED TODAY!"

Even the mispelling of words. Read the first paragraph below at the bottom of my post. He builds up the station in much the same way that he built up the return of WALE. Then if you'll notice the last line, he mispelled the word OUR and wrote "ARE" instead.

It's also funny how he says very little information is available on the location of the station, but then he goes on to say that the station is being built right now! So if it's being built right now genius... than how the hell can you NOT KNOW WHERE IT IS?

I agree that this is a HOAX! Not only is it a Hoax, but it's a poorly executed one that was written by a complete Moron.

The guy's real name escapes me at the moment, but he used to call himself "Tommy Isuzu", during his 15 minutes of fame on 990......about 15 minutes too long, if you ask me. ;D

I'll at least give the hoaxter credit for actually shelling out a few bucks for placing the All-Access ad to make this look semi-credible. ;)

As Skynet74 correctly points out, the spelling and grammar were dead giveaways.

i belive it was "radiowavesri" that started the wale crap last year. just about the same time of year as well. it was the 1st thing i thought of too as i read the ad. i was waiting for Big Anges name to pop up.

I did my home work and here is what I found for CP's in Mass alltogether

These are new CP's

88.1 Edgartown
88.5 Bayview
91.7 Marshfield
91.7 Stow

the only commercial frequency I see being built with a CP in Mass is Montague on 105.3 just north of Springfield off of rt 91.

If it's legit it's tailor made for someone on the beach or a beginner. I'm just surprised it's on All Access. Someone ought to apply just as an experiment.

Oh, you're giving too much credit...you can post ad's for free on All Access!?!

hmmm...maybe someone in management trying to figure out if one of their staff members would leave in a heartbeat? to see who would throw out their resume?

Yeah right. Send us your name, address, phone, and photo but we can't tell you anything about us. There are legitimate blind ads in R&R but it looks like I could just get a PO Box and post bogus ads on All Access using lousy grammar. I assume they don't check the legitimacy of these. Now tell me, in what other profession would this happen? And don't think people haven't responded either. This is the equivalent of finding a blind date online.

I'm trying to think of a motive behind placing such an ad. Besides boredom I really can't think of many. Maybe it's some hard up guy trying to meet a cute radio chick. So this is his way of doing it. I guess the membership fee to Match.com was a little to expensive for him. lol

In the past, I had posted a blind ad on All Access when I was looking to replace someone. I used a generic email and gave a general location, not much different than the ad in question, and I received an email from All Access asking if it was legit...but that was also 4-5 years ago.
