There's this "Audio Version" of Youtube or twitter that I've been using for a while called Chirbit. Chirbit is free to use, and it allows people with Adobe Flash Player 10 & Adobe AIR a way to either record or upload audio content to their site. I use the upload option, because A) you can only record yourself for up to five minutes at a time and B) you can upload up to 2 hours (a.k.a 120 MB) of music, voice recordings, etc...
It's best to upload MP3 files because WAV files take forever, so if you have WAV files you want on Chirbit, you need a file converter (Switch Sound File Converter is my weapon of choice)
I started using this site in January to upload my own "audio programming", mainly sports, but some music too. I record my content using Audacity 1.3 or WavePad using bumpers, liners and beds to go along with my sports commentary or song IDs (frontsells or backsells) for each project, export the finished product to MP3, and then upload that MP3 file to Chirbit.
Now I have what I call the "Thompson Audio Network", which during a normal workweek (M-F) I upload what you could call "tape delayed internet radio" or "on demand internet radio" because people can log on to my Chirbit page and listen any time they want (if they have Adobe Flash 10 & Adobe AIR).
Here's the link to my page:

I started with a sports show that airs twice a week, then I added a music countdown show a few weeks ago, and two days ago I started a spin off of my sports show. Until I started the music countdown doubleheader, I played music on the "flagship" sports show.
My upload schedule looks like this right now (always subject to change):
Monday - Five Minutes To Go (the network's flagship show, with pro & college sports news, plus a recap of the previous weekend in sports)
*Tuesday - The Second String (Minor League sports news, and some news on sports that don't get a lot attention in the United States)
*Wednesday - Jet Thompson's Adult 5 Countdown & The Christian Hit 5 (two music countdown shows; mainstream hits then Christian hits)
*Thursday - OPEN
Friday - Five Minutes To Go (weekend edition of the network's flagship show, with pro & college sports news, plus a preview of the upcoming weekend in sports)
*I'll sometimes do "Special Editions" of Five Minutes To Go when there's a multi-day sporting event like the NCAA Tournament or the upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup, or I'll do "Special Editions" of Five Minutes To Go before or after I go on vacations, which was the case today because I'm leaving for Chicago tomorrow, so I uploaded Five Minutes To Go today.
So, has this been done before that you know of, or am I actually on to something here?
