Internet Radio Station - Pittsburgh, PA

Hi Everyone!

My name is Stephanie Christensen and I wanted to let everyone know about an Internet radio station that has been around for about 7 years now. It's called SHARC-NET Radio.

The station is a tribute to former Pittsburgh radio. We play the top hits from the 70's, 80's, 90's and today along with some flashback 60's hits. No song repeats within 6 days!

We play comedy clips, like Rodney Dangerfield, Louie Anderson, Robin Williams, Steven Wright and Gerorge Carlin to name a few. We also play retro-mercials and TV Flashbacks.

SHARC-NET Radio also play independent artists & bands. Got a band and want to get some airplay? Send me an email!

We also play clips from 13Q (WKTQ 1320 AM) and "Groovy KQV" (1410 AM), comedy and Radio/TV retro-mercials. Anyone remember the tune "Experiment in Terror"? I'm sure if you heard it, you would recognize it as the main theme from "Chiller Theater", another "burg" classic that we play.

We're always looking for more clips from former Pittsburgh Radio. If you have any interesting clips, please let me know. We'll post your name and town in the radio player window when your clip plays. Yes, we play requests!

To listen to SHARC-NET Radio, please click on the link below and then click on the yellow speaker button. A small player program will download and you're set to go! There is no fee to tune in, although VIP (paid) members will be able to listen ad-free.

So let's talk Pittsburgh Radio... past, present & future!
Looking forward to chatting with all of you!

Hugs,
Stephanie
