Internet radio tuners

I am thinking of buying an internet radio tuner for obvious reasons. Does anyone have one? What do you recommend?
I have wi-fi and use my laptop to stream shows now. My bedside radio is feeling antiquated and I think the internet tuner is the answer.
Any thoughts?

I saw one at Best Buy. I can't remember the brand, but I remember that it was only about $35, which to me is great. I didn't see any other internet radios, so I don't think you'll have much to choose from.

The future of interent radio is very bright with computers having so much involvement in people's everyday life. We're watching the audience numbers soar at the internet radio station I program.

I have both the RCA RIR 205 Internet Clock Radio Tuner and the Aluratek USB Internet Radio Jukebox stick that I plug into my computer's USB port and they are both excellent. Internet radio has to be one of the greatest electronic innovations.

Do you need a broadband port (DSL or cable) with appropriate modem in close prximity to the radio? Or alternatively a wireless router near your PC and within range of the radio? Or are you wirelessly connected to a neighbor's non-password-protected home network? I gather that a lot of people just take these things home from the store, turn them on, and they work. But the signal has to come from someplace, and it doesn't seem very prudent to just assume that the signal will be there where and when you want to listen. I guess I should see what WikiPedia has to say about Internet radio.

I have cable internet and wireless modem. I enjoy two wireless laptops and our wii that access the internet through my own account. Oh and my kids use their DS's wireless as well

I ended up getting the iLUV int170. What an easy and excellent unit. I was tuning in stations within 4 minutes of opening the box. So far so good. Goodbye trying to receive WABC at night via terrestial...........
Sounds great and is very easy to navigate.

The only problem I have with buying one of the units is the very small number of presets!

I was looking at a few units...and some had only FOUR presets!

I don't know why they limit this....with a wi-fi radio, there are endless amounts of radio stations!

I would think that the # of available presets would be virtually endless.

Is the RIAA likely to crash the party with fees only the Clear Channels and CBS Radios of the world can afford, or will there still be a great variety of Internet radio stations for the foreseeable future?

DonJuan,
This radio has 20 presets for int. station. AND you can go online and create you own ENDLESS favorites lists. And then you go to your radio, scroll to favorites and all of your favorite stations are there to choose from. This is not a worry with this radio.
