INTERNET RADIO

Anybody have a favorite internet only station they like to listen to? Not a terrestrial station's online stream but an internet only broadcast that is doing it right.

How about the BEST CLASSICAL MUSIC INTERNET STATION with the most diverse classical music and not the usual Bach, Beethoven and Mozart that you can listen to on KXPR-88.9. Oh yes I am looking for an INTERNET ONLY STATION not a terresterial station streaming online.

I'm looking forward to hearing the new 147 KXOA ("Good Guy Radio"), which is supposed to debut on April 1 from a secret location deep beneath Downtown Sacramento. The great Bill Earl, whom many of us know for his outstanding work on the Classic Radio Scrapbook, is among those involved in the project.

Bill was The Darin' Phil Heron on Manteca's Mighty KXOK last year. KXOK morphed into Classic KYA a few months ago.

I've always been partial to Bill Goldsmith's Radio Paradise. Nice variety. Felton Pruitt (former KFAT and XM Bluegrass DJ) has a decent progressive country channel going at fatmusicradio.com also. Again, nice variety - but leaning more towards country.

I like Pandora, too. Any Internet radio stations doing any Morning Show type stuff?

i wonder if there's a KROY-like internet station.

No, there is not, but if this website can get the resources to broadcast, I'll wager they'd do it in a heartbeat!

Hi Everyone,

That 70's Channel is the work of three radio folks with Sacramento ties and inspired by many of you and all the Great Sacramento and San Francisco Stations - its Upbeat, Plays the Hits -does the proper research to make sure it stays fresh, updates its music playlists daily, uses top quality jingles and imaging, and is currently the #1 Oldies station and In the TOP 10 of all stations on the Live365 Network, listed on ITunes, TIVO and Recieva, its also a member of the small group of small commerical webcasters that is getting the special royality rates from SoundExchange and makes enough money to pay the bills !

What is so very special about it ? Its the work of us three guys that LOVE radio, Has still lots of Room to grow and FUN, thats why we call it "Your #1 Place for Fun- The Biggest Hits of the 70's and More -THAT 70's CHANNEL" Have a great Day :)

and Yes I am Very proud of it Thanks Michael and Lance !
