Internet Smooth Jazz Radio Stations

Hands down it's The Wave in Los Angeles. Best mix of Smooth Jazz I've heard. Better than CD101.9 was in NYC! I have been listening online non-stop since we lost smooth jazz here in NYC.

www.947thewave.com

check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sky.fm smooth jazz is pretty good, but their playlist doesn't seem that big. Smoothjazz.com and WNJL.com are also pretty good.

Interesting that Bay SJ has, for the first time since I've been listening, added an advertisement just prior to the start of their web broadcast...usually adding something like that is in response to increased web traffic at the site...I wonder if the mention here has resulted in increased traffic and subsequent ad placement?

Alicia Keys? The Chi-Lites?? Michael McDonald??? Yeah. Grover was on the "last played" list but it was his cover of a 25 year old Peabo Bryson song. Peter White was on the list too but it was his cover of a 30 year old Grover Washington song. Have people been settling for less for so long that they think this is all there is??

In light of the hit terrestrial SJ radio is taking, I thought it would be appropriate to post your favorite Smooth Internet Jazz Radio Stations.

I've been listening almost exclusively to Bay SJ, since I've had access to high-speed internet access the past month, and I've heard some incredible new music I've never heard before...2 that they just added to their playlist really grabbed my attention...

Song: Riff To The Smooth

Artist: 3D

CD: Soulride

Bay SJ continues to impress...just heard the following artist/song which I'd never head before...it really caught my attention, and IMHO, is fine work...you can hear a 2 minute clip by clicking on the following link...

Up All Night - Ron Fattorusso - Up All Night

Sweet, Thanks for the posting the comment. A net station that my company is actually not blocking or they have not tracked me there yet. Sucks being on the road and everything I enjoy listening to being blocked.

If you have a chance to listen to BSJ, I'll be very interested to hear your opinion of their SJ product. I posted earlier that they have a definite urban emphasis to their playlist, but their variety/originality is quite remarkable.

I have to echo the recent comments from JoshB and majaman78 regarding the "The .wav".

As I said in an earlier post, it is the finest contemporary/smooth jazz station I have ever heard. AC has effectively captured the essence of Jones Smooth Jazz, but has taken it to the next level and beyond with a level of quality music programming that has yet to be approached by any
terrestrial/satellite/internet alternative.

"The .wav" is now the only music station I listen to, as anything else is just a pretender!!
