I have a new internet radio station and was wondering if there are people out there that sell advertising for internet radio stations? I keep busy running the station let alone trying to see spots. Anyone know if there are people out there that do that? Are there banners you can put on your site that people/companies will pay for to have on your site?

A source that may be able to help you would be Standard radio out of Canada, as they own A company called Iceberg media.
They can discuss with you some of the best routes to take when it comes to Banner advertising.
I would direct you to a Gentleman by the name of Gary Aubee, but I understand he is no longer with Standard radio Toronto, unfortunantly.
However, It wouldn't hurt to call 416-922-9999 and ask for the Iceberg media department anyway.
Not sure who you'll get, but I'm sure they'll be more than happy to have a bit of a chat with you regarding this, and other related matters.

Yea... thats if you have a station in Canada. If his station is in the United States then its a whole different ballgame. Advertisers only want USA traffic.. Whats the point of promoting a FOX TV show in Canada? get my point?
If you are looking to make a quick buck in internet radio.. its not going to happen... dont get your hopes up.... Internet radio is hobby.

You REALLY need to see the forest through the trees!
Play the monkey see, monkey do game. When they run an ad for Global television, that's when you run the same ad for FOX TV. (if it's the same show ie Simpsons, airing in Canada on Global, and on FOX in the states.)
Communication with them (Iceberg) is also good, because you will never be a "Threat" to their bottom line, since all or most ads will not come from the same source.
No one at Global is going to say "oh yea, let's advertise there instead" if it's an American site, and vice versa.
BTW Canada does have FOX TV there, but it gets the "Sim sub" treatment when a Canadian channel is running the same show at the same time. (Niagara falls Canada gets Fox 29 out of Buffalo, for example, but it flips to a Global screen, or who ever in Canada, when the Cdn station carries the same show.)
