Internet Streaming Z-100 VS KTU

Has anyone noticed that Z-100's stream is much clearer and louder than KTU's? I listen to the IHeartRadio app on my I-phone in the car and connect it via Bluetooth. Z-100 is clear and has a lot of bass. KTU sounds like it is at the lowest bitrate, and sounds like a poor MP3. I am up in Albany, and I love to listen to at least one station I grew up with 20 years ago (Z-100).

I notice this also. Z100 sounds more compressed than the KTU stream at the moment. I don't no what they doing with that processing but it sounds not good. Maybe CC see this topic and can fix it.
 
KTU's stream has always sounded a little less full and more tin-like when compared to Z100, but even with that KTU's stream still showing up on a lot of PPM's in the metro and jersey.
