"The Whale" or 99.1 WAAL, has done pretty decent from Clarks Summit on north over the years. Also, almost every client/friend i've known from Clarks Summit on up has heard of the station. The signal is pretty powerful once you make your way into Chinchilla or the curve of the bend on highway 81. In some parts the signal is so strong it actually is picked up on the scan/seek buttons of the radio.

WILK is dominant by default. Live 6 to 11:45 am only, a tough listen, news department of one.

I'll agree with you on WARM. The signal has deteriorated. It needs a lot of TLC and cash.

i was getting it on 98.8 than i found the real freq.

also heard KRZ......sounded ok but from what i had heard about it i guess i expected more enegry the talk sets i heard in PM drive seemed a bit long....

AM radio does not have to be dead and it doesn't take a lot of food and water to make them sound great. SOmebody has to care.....

there is an opportunity there for one of those stations to step up and be a flame thrower like many of the cc news talk stations....
