Interstate Highway Radio Station ?

Maybe someone here can help me. I've been racking my brain for the past couple of weeks trying to remember where I saw a transmitter building and tower in the middle of an Interstate highway somewhere in the midwest. To the best of my recollection, it was an East/Weat highway but I wouldn't swear to it. I remember it was in the mid 70's when I saw it. I think it might have been in Nebraska but again I'm not 100% sure. I do know the highway curved slightly around the property located between the east and west lanes and I always thought how novel it was in the middle of hundreds of miles of straight highway. Thanks in advance for any help.

Channel 3 in Sterling CO, ex-KTVS, now KUPN. Stick is in the very wide median of I-76 in northeast CO...
