Introduction

Hello All,

Wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Gary Tollett and my wife and I own Wobl and Wdlw Radio in Lorain County. Wanted to open my Door to anyone who would like to visit the stations and see the real truths of what we are doing to keep Real Local Radio alive. I've seen many false comments in the threads about alot of things I believe 1 from a few years back saying we would be silent by now because I was in over my head!!! Please as Radio lovers feel free to reach out to me and come visit us. I love talking Radio and I am Very Transparent about what we do to keep the doors open!! Thank you All for sharing your Passion of Radio!!!
Sincerely
Gary T

Hi Gary, I was the morning man/ chief engineer on the WDLW predecessor WLRO back in the early 70's. We worked hard to be Lorain's local station with local news, Saturday afternoon high school sports local remotes etc. My daughter who lives in Lorain got married a few years back and while there I tuned in WDLW and was very pleased to hear such a great job at being a local station. The day of local radio has not passed in fact it may be reborn since most stations aren't gleaning the local sponsors available in many markets. Good luck and hope that you are keeping the stations locally focused.
