ION launches Emeril Lagasse Show

"The Emeril Lagasse Show," will launch Sunday, 4/18 at 8:00 PM, ET. "Emeril Live", of course, was a hugh hit for The Food Network. Hopefully it will be of similar quality and won't be too much of a gabfest. Supposedly celebs will join Emeril for some hands-on cooking. It's a good trend to see a show like this available to OTA viewers.

Now if we can bring "Iron Chef" over to broadcast television and maybe a Bobby Flay show we won't need The Food Network at all.

Given the recent loss of his radio show and that the smooth jazz format has been losing ground all across the US, it's nice to see "The Koz" snag a paying gig.
