Ion Life now showing drama

Ion Life now seems to have changed it focus recently from lifestyle to drama. It is now showing scripted shows like Raising Hope, The Listener and Rookie Blue. It seems to be showing marathons of these scripted shows each day like Ion. It's almost Ion 2. I suppose these shows will rate a lot better than the cheap lifestyle shows and as they have the rights to these scripted shows they might as well stick them on Ion Life.

Other than White Collar and the obligatory EI stuff, it's still all CanCon just like those DIY, makeover and cooking shows that have been run into the ground for a decade. Rookie Blue aired on Global while The Listener and Saving Hope aired on CTV. I wish they'd air The Guard again, and throw Durham County on there too...I miss those two shows.

But Rookie Blue also aired on ABC. The CanCon syndication has gone on for several years, all low-budget barter shows. Wasn't long ago you could still find Da Vinci's Inquest on weekend afternoons.

Frankly, I preferred the previous format of lifestyle shows. Ion Life has evolved into Ion Plus, just another incarnation of the main Ion channel.

They badly need to add a few more shows to the schedule. Its the same 4 shows on a loop. What other shows could Ion have the right to?

Ex-PAX content?
Sue Thomas, F.B. Eye?
Doc?
Ponderosa?

I mean, ION isn't nowhere near a family network anymore. NCIS: Los Angeles has nothing to do with family entertainment.
