ion schedule

How does Ion air in your city?
This is how it is in Cincinnati, which does not have a local Ion affiliate. During the day and most of overnight, we see either paid programming or religious programming on cable. We see Ion's regular late afternoon and night time lineup as they air.
Before Cincinnati got Me-TV as part of its over-the-air digital lineup (which was what? 2 years ago?), Time Warner (and I assume the other cable and dish companies) locally would air old black-and-white, public domain episodes of Ozzie and Harriet, The Beverly Hillbillies, My Little Margie and I Married Joan during Ion's non-scheduled air times. Once Me-TV arrived, the old shows were replaced by infomercials and the Ion Life sister station travel and food programs.
Is this how Ion is now scheduled everywhere? Or do some affiliates still carry the old reruns?
Obviously, the reruns are preferable to me. I can live with the religious programming and I've even watched segments of the Ion Life shows, but is there anyone on the planet who watches infomercials?

Back in 2006 (as I observed while staying in Austin, Texas), Ion would show old PD reruns and movies, and some Ion Life shows, on cable systems that carry the national Ion feed. Don't know how they do it now.

PAX had a national feed via cable only that carried public domain programming and some older PAX shows (like Beat the Clock with Gary Kroeger). I didn't see it, because we had KWPX 33 that only had infomercials before programming.

During 2007, 2008 ION channel had Quantum Leap, Alice, and Mama's Family. But they edited the crap out of Alice. This was on AT&T U-verse in Austin.

San Antonio had the same lineup, on it's ION station except you could plug in rabbit ears instead of getting cable.

I wish Time Warner would air Me-Tv 12.2 out of San Antonio. I wonder if they could or would that violate Syndex?
