IPA modules for HT-10 and HT-20 the same ?

our HT-20 coughed up an IPA module overnight Thursday

If they're the same I'll order a new one for the 20 and have the deader repaired as a spare for both............

Anyone know ?

Thanks

G

If the IPA is in a blue box I don't think it can be repaired. The parts are no longer made. Harris has a retrofit IPA, but I think you also may need to change a value or two in the IPA supply.

yup

blue box, down low on the LH interior, accessable (kinda) thru the front

I thought I detected a slight 'flicker' in the IPA output a couple weeks ago, shoulda checked further then

I'll clench the cheeks real tight and call Harris in the morning then

They are not the same module. The HT3.5/5/7/10 uses a 300 W IPA module. Early HT20/25s use a 600 W module, later that series went to a 700 W module. You'll have to check with Harris Service Parts to get current replacement types and costs.

Those modlues (300W, 600W, and 700W) in the blue boxes were made by MM&D. They got eaten by someoone, but there are folks out there who will fix them for you. Try a web search.
