iPhone Audio Streams

OK...we need to post something new. Here's my question to you all:

How many of you in the biz now have talked about iPhone apps for your station?

And if you have, or already have it now, how's it working for you? Do you sell it?

I know a couple of stations that do stream, and I've listened to them in my truck. Some streams have a strong connection, while others break up. One actively sells banner ads while streaming. No one else I've reviewed has.

Locally, WAMO 100 streams and it's a good strong signal. Needless to say, no ads are on it though. Input please?

I am not replying from the biz, but replying as a listener. I moved to eastern PA two years ago and thankful I can listen to many Pittsburgh stations on iHeart and TuneIn. I hope you develop an app for your Butler stations some day, especially WLER so I can listen out here.

We have an iPhone and Android app in process. Try out our stream at pghjazzchannel.net. Connect your iPhone to your AUX jack in your car or use the Bluetooth in newer models.

Extraordinary audio.

How can an Internet stream be strong, or weak? What matters, I would think, is the particular Wi-Fi or cellular signal you happen to be receiving. Or am I missing something?
