Ipod with hd radio

I really like what apple has done with their ipod radio radio remote with RDS
What do you think it would take to convince apple to get a hd radio compatible remote? is their a develupment number you can call and suggest it to them>

They'll probably wait until the HD chipsets are more advanced, smaller in size, and less costly to implement, if they do get to that point (XM and Sirius have).

I'm suspecting that the reason that the iPod radio has RDS is so users can see what song is playing and then later purchase the song at the iTunes Music Store.

HD doesn't really add anything to Apple's motive, but if the radio remains in Apple's line long enough, it will probably appear.

Indeed.

I understand that the power draw for the HD chipset is rather significant. For example, the soon to come out Radiosophy will not run off of batteries, but requires at least a cigarette power source. Needless to say the iPod would not be able to power such a chipset...... yet.
