iPods Help Doctors Recognize Heart Problems and it's not HD Radio!

I wonder how doctors did this before the iPod. CD players? Recorded heartbeats played through headphones. Cutting edge stuff.

While an HD Radio station could broadcast nothing but heartbeats for doctors to hone their listening skills, I don't see it happening.
 
Yeah, that's a really lucrative idea. This could be the first HD2 format to really catch fire! I just hope the Urologists never get their hands on an HD3! Gives a whole new meaning to the term "stream" :D
