[Ireland] Beat 102-103 (22-09-2005)

Hey all,

I'm from Ireland and I found this site a few weeks ago and I've been visiting it ever since. I'm wondering would you like me to post some airchecks from Irish stations here every-so-often?

Here's a taste of what Irish radio is like. It comes from Ireland's only regional station, Beat 102-103, and is 28 minutes long. Their jingle package is a remixed version of IQBeat's Fox FM.

Have a listen and let me know what you think and if you'd like me to post more.

Re: [Ireland] Beat 102-103

Paul,

Thank you! Would love to see more Irish and other international airchecks. Can you give us a listing of the stations in your area?

Thanks again,

John

Re: [Ireland] Beat 102-103

John,

Thanks for your reply.

Stations in my area include;
2FM (chr/pop)
RTE Radio 1 (talk radio mainly)
Lyric FM (classical)
Raidió na Gaeltachta (irish language station)
KCLR 96FM (middle of the road - chr/oldies/ac)
Tipp FM (middle of the road again - chr/oldies/ac but leaning chr/ac)
Live 95FM (again a middle of the road station - chr/oldies/ac)
Clare FM (more middle of the road - chr/oldies/ac) *fuzzy reception
Beat 102-103 (chr/pop)

I'll have a 2FM aircheck up tomorrow along with another Beat 102-103 one.

Thanks a lot. It is great to have some people here from Europe. I have traded with people in Italy, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Jersey and France in the past. I still have some bumper stickers from them that I will eventually give to Matt from some of the European stations.
