Irony from All Access (since there isn't much being posted anyhow.)

Out of the area, but you should get the point...

CLEAR CHANNEL/SAN ANTONIO is flipping Progressive Talk KPRT to "92.5 THE OUTLAW," a music outlet specializing in TEXAS music.

Back to silence... Zzzz..

No irony there. When I was in Texas (Dallas and San Antonio) all of my friends listened to Metal and Alt. Country. Still doesn't mean it would (and it didn't) work here.
I believe I would have listened to 92.5 for longer periods of time if they would have kept a harder edge. In the beginning, they did but, to my ears, they became QYK #2.

If you do it here, in Florida, it would be all Jimmy Buffet all the time.

Any idea if they need a morning guy who is already used to saying Outlaw?

Many of us miss Outlaw 92.5 with Cowhead and Brent. But most of all we miss LT. Just can't get enough of that crazy guy. No doubt he will be a big radio star someday.

Now that's funny!

"crazy".

I've never even heard the guy on the radio (Can't seem to pick up the Mighty USF Bull-FM from here in San Antonio), but I have had my fair share of Q-105 related e-mails to get the idea.

FYI: The Outlaw in San Antonio is actually pretty good - spent a full day listening to it. They have some guy doing voice work who sounds, well, creepy. Sort of like trying to imitate that Tom Bodet guy ("We'll leave the light on") but with a more gravelly voice. But the music is really good. No idea if they plan on adding an air staff, hopefully they will.

LOL!! :)
Here, here for giving a good chuckle!
(Tho' is a not-so-ironic seriousness underlying?....)
