Irv Homer---1490-WBCB

Just heard rumblings that Irv Homer has stepped out of WBCB Levittown, Fairless Hills, Trenton. I had a pleasure of being his board-op at the suburban station for a period of time and Irv was a TRUE gentleman. He would literally give you the shirt off of his back. From what i heard 3rd-hand is that he handed in his resignation letter yesterday morning (Fri. 2-2-07) and broadcast his last show. Hopefully his voice will be heard somewhere else in the Delaware Valley. It will "boggle my mind" if someone doesn't! Bless you Irv, and cheers to a radio pro. I still do miss 96-5 WWBD-FM.
