Irv Homer

Is Irv Homer still around? Gosh knows the Philadelphia area needs a sensible right wing voice amidst a sea of pathetic liberalism. Philadelphia is a sick city! Most people only care about the Eagles and upholding the Liberal Socilaist Dogma of their Pathetic Lefty Politicians.

No! Im also wondering about an attorney who was pretty right wing and would always put those dumb liberals like Marc Howard and company in there place every week. That guy ruled as well. I forget his name. Is he on the radio anywhere?

Actually, I think his name is Smerconish. What a legend!

Irv Homer is on WBCB 1490 Levittown 1-3pm weekdays, they also stream if you're outside the area. Irv is a Libertarian not pandering to the left or right. He is still the 'voice of reason' but spends much time on the show these days speaking out against George W. Bush & Rush Limbaugh & other conservatives.

Well, that's not gonna shock me. True Conservatives are Liberterians and do not like Bush. I would rather hear constructive anti-Bush bantering rather than stand in a crowd of Phish-Neo Hippies singing kumbya! I also detest Rush as he is nothing but a bloated Whale pacifying the establishment!

I pray to God you aren't on the air anywhere.

Or it could be the person who brought us such phrases as "The Daily Disappointment", "The Stink-wire" and "Sharpie Sharpton".

And that would be one Tom Marr...now on WCBM/"Bawl-mur, hon"<P ID="signature">______________

I'm even more confused. Your making sense. Hear you were in your social mode bashing WIP about latinos, and now you made a decent post linking a radio host with political statements. Even though it's going off track with what this board is about. What wavelength are you on?

And what am I stereotyping Mr. Shreck?

Obviously you don't watch WPVI. He is on their sunday show after the morning news. You know, Issues and answers with Wally Kennedy. Sometimes Irv seems like a staple of this show.....Isn't this a non-radio issue???

You detest Druggie Limbaugh, great. Why not try the ED schultz show, for a blast of Democratic rhetoric.

Mr Shreck? um right.

Anyway looking back at your Abreu post you called the above poster a somethin somethin who hung out at starbacks and said he hated sports and blah blah blah. You were obviously stereotying him. Mr Donkey.

Irv's heard weekdays from 1-3 on WBCB in Bucks County. I'd post the link to his page on their web site, but not sure if it's against "forum rules". So google "Irv Homer Bucks County" and it should be the top listing.

There's even an archive of many past shows to listen to online.

Re: Irv Homer...Libertarian

As a member of The Libertarian Party since 1980 (first the LP of PA) true Conservatives are for such things as US military might, foreign aid, corporate financial aid, the war on drugs, anti-prostituition, US ownership of the airwaves, the rivers, the highways... I could fill a page of what Conservatives are for which is anti-Libertarian.

There are some things that we agree with Conservatives, but we agree with Liberals on certain issues too. Please do not lump us in with Conservatives. Some Conservatives want the government not to grow and other want fat cut out of government. We want the flesh and meat cut out right down to the bone, and then we can cut out some of the bone too. At the very very least, the Federal government should be cut back to what is authorized in the Constituition. And not any more than that. Remember that document?

There should be nothing that is Federal that is not specifically authorized in the Constituition. After that is done, then we can work on cutting back state and local government.

If you knew what a Libertarian believes, you would never confuse us with Conservatives.

Well, that's not gonna shock me. True Conservatives are
