I heard 10!'s Lauren Hart is leaving?
Is this true?
If so when and why?

Yes I read this in the Inquirer. She is leaving to concentrate on her music. I don't remember when her last day is. To tell the truth, I didn't like her on the show anyway.

I read somewhere that she is leving in January to pursue her singing career, but I'm not sure of the date.

She will need to concentrate on her music very hard as she is a lousy singer.

Re: Lauren Hart

Lauren Hart is a second-generation Philadelphia broadcaster; her late father Gene Hart was the longtime play-by-play voice of the Philadelphia Flyers, and called the team's back-to-back Stanley Cup championship seasons (1974 and 1975) during the mid-1970's. The elder Hart's call of Philadelphia clinching their first-ever Cup in 1974 probably ranks as one of the great play-by-play broadcasts in Philly history.

I have heard one of Lauren's recordings; she's a great singer and if she had to make the choice between a fulltime career as a television personality and a fulltime career as a singer/musician, I think she made the right choice in concentrating on music.

Not that she wouldn't have been a great television personality; had she decided to go that route instead, I think she could have had a long and successful career in that field.
