I was just listening to an online stream of WHPT "The Bone". They were just playing "Rollin" by Limb Bizkit. Then "Rooster" by Alice in Chains. Songs that for the most part were in heavy rotation on WXTB. Did "The Bone" actually change formats to Active Rock or are they still "Classic Rock". Is Cox Posutioning WHPT to dethrone "98 Rock" or not.
Just listening you would already figure "The Bone" isn't Classic Rock anymore. Which means the Tampa St.Pete Market does not currentely have a Classic Rock Station. Except for the portions of the market that can pick up WHTQ.
Could the stations be pretty soon verbally attacking each other. Such as with Clear Channel with Thunder 1035 and Cox with "The New 102.5".(Before the name change.)
