I suspect that CFGO has been operating within the terms of its license since approximately January 10. In other words, the problem was likely repaired almost exactly 13 weeks after it began. I did not post for fear that subsequent listening would prove me wrong. There were days during the 13-week period when CFGO did not interfere with WKOX, but sometimes WKOX could be in the clear for three or four hours and then suddenly be buried again. However, CFGO has now not been evident to me for almost three weeks, and I have heard WTLA several times, though not as often as before CFGO's problems began. Perhaps WTLA decided to retaliate against CFGO by operating ND at night and does not yet realize that it's time to go back to DA-N operation. WTLA (the adult standars station in N Syracuse) is licensed for 1 kW-U DA-N (two towers) with a DA that sends more signal to the east than the ND operation does. So if WTLA were operating with 1 kW-U ND-U, I'd expect to hear less of it here than if it were operating in accordance with its license.
