IS 2014 BCS FOOTBALL PLAYOFF A GOOD THING ?

I personally think what we have now is working pretty good. May not be perfect, but the new
thing could open up a can of worms IMO.

The playoff idea just seems to turn one game into 3, thus more money to be made. I'd put that
as to having Miss USA on 4 nights instead of 1. One night for talent, etc. etc. Squeeze all you can get
out of it.

The championship team could now be the #4 team, which will probably not have as good a record.
At least now it's the top two. So the championship team is #4 with a 10-2 record but the #1 team
with an 11-1 record is out of it............worms worms worms.

Until those "worms" at the BCS squiggle up an eight-game playoff - thus more money to be made. Bank on it. It'll happen - not now, but soon, as Stewie Griffin would say...
