Is 790 Going All Korean?

Has anybody heard...

what the Vietnamese principal plans to do with WAZX? As you probably know, his Vietnamese programming didn't work out and its dark again.
Is he trying to sell it? I'd give him $100K for it. It may not be worth that. I realize he has much more than that in it. But at least he'd be going back to Vietnam with something in his pocket.
 
K-POP is actually a growing hot niche among non Korean listeners as well. I know several people who do not speak Korean whatsoever who listen to nothing else, or they mix it in playlists freely with English, Japanese, or Chinese songs. Whatever sounds good.

And it's not just Psy. Groups like F(x), T-Ara, Shinee, B4ST, Dal Shabet, Sistar, Girls Generation, SHINee, EXO, Hyuna, etc etc. This stuff is blazing hot within its niche audience of non-Koreans and a lot of these people don't listen to normal radio at all, so there is a shot here to reach otherwise hard to reach listeners. That is, if they put down their Youtube playlists and actually listen to a radio.
 
Have you ever heard of Pink Lady?

They were a hot Japanese female disco duo who had a hit on the Billboard top 40 in '79 called Kiss In The Dark. Now, you wouldn't think they would be that popular with Americans but somebody at NBC decided they should have their own TV show the following year. It was short lived, however.
